From those who are encountering the approach for the first time to those who have been writing and sharing stories for years and are ready to consider what comes next, we will explore together what Learning Stories are, why they matter, and how to bring them to life in your setting.
Dr. Jacqueline McDonough
Dr. Jacqueline McDonough has deep expertise in organizational leadership, trauma-informed care, and change management; she is dedicated to leading organizations into new chapters of growth and innovation. Dr. McDonough brings a wealth of experience in creating sustainable organizational capacities and implementing effective change strategies that enhance services and support for underserved populations. Having dedicated years to improving organizational outcomes and fostering a culture of resilience, she is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments for children.
Dr. McDonough has a deep passion for positive child development and working with children from birth to five years old, recognizing that these critical early years have a profound long-term impact on children’s growth and development. Her commitment to Learning Stories brings compassion and child first learning through her experience. She believes that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported throughout their journey, and is proud to lead the only Family Fostering Agency remaining in Santa Barbara County, with reunification with birth parents as the priority.
Dr. McDonough holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and has a proven track record of driving positive change within nonprofit organizations.
